We were team #10, the “Zesty Zucchinis”. Unstoppable. We came to SHRED the competition. Only this wasn’t really a competition (*shrug* 🤷♂️). It’s COBRA-Con 2024 pyro boot camp! Join me as I take you on our pyro boot camp journey from beginning to end.

COBRA-Con Pyro Boot Camp is an interactive, all-day seminar where it begins with multiple teams of 5 pyros and a laptop. The bootcamp is hosted by Finale Fireworks and begins with an overview of the rules, then a session on using Finale 3D. After which teams are given a list of 8 songs to choose from and a set amount of pre-chosen, 1.4g fireworks ranging from single shots, to slices, and cakes. There are 3 positions and a single 36-shot CraigCo rack. The limits are extreme, but the teams pulled off some really nice mini-shows. If you’re a new pyro and haven’t attended COBRA-Con, you really need to do this Boot Camp. You’ll meet some great, like-minded people and have a BLAST!
